Competitive gaming in South Africa at a crossroads

MSSA should rather create the development programme and not expect others from outside to run it... Colin should open MSSA to the community leaders who are creating the professional environment for eSports to flourish and allow them to help MSSA become reputable again. The current situation is not favorable with MSSA being non committal to putting in the hard yards but rather letting others do the hard work with them just stamping their name on it.

Good article, makes sense actually...
Except for the part where our national team apparently does better than our private teams(for obvious reasons).
Lets settle this by organising a CSGO match between Bravado and the national team.

HAHAHA BZK vs BVD =D
Classic..

And no this article does not make sense at all.
Companies Like Orena and DGL are doing LOTS more than MSSA can ever do to advance the sport in South Africa.
MSSA is just not involved in any of it. So there is no crossroads actually imo. It is heading forward in the right direction with lots of momentum

Ok let me correct myself and say that the second part of the article makes sense. The part where we are sort off cutoff by not playing on international servers. However our recent inclusion on some international tournaments helps alot.
Unless you guys normally play on international then I take back what I say.

That is very very true!
We do not have a system like ESL in Australia, Europe and America where Top Tier teams challenge each other often
