Pretty much sums up this weeks episode of Shippuden for me. It was refreshing to see my favourite "Zombie Combi" in action before they became partners.

I am watching black Lagoon and jormungand, awesome animes with a slightly darker theme / world settings

Jormungand was really good, they even featured Cape Town in one episode if I recall. When you finish both seasons of Black Lagoon, watch Roberta's blood trail OVA.

Saint_Dee it's finally over! One half of this weeks episode was the conclusion of Itachi arc and the beginning of the final arc.

So it looks like the Talk-no-jitsu and Back-story-no-jitsu where present in this weeks episode. Please let's just end this by October!

PSA: If you have not already, you should watch JoJo's Bizzare Adventure, I can not recommend it enough!

Additionally Attack on titan will only becoming in 2017, while having Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress and Attack on Titan in 2016 would be amazing, you can't have your cake and eat it.

As of late a large bit of the dislike is being directed towards the usage of CGI in the new Berserk series set to come out later this year. I believe it is stemming from the 3 films that where released back in 2012 and 2013. It made use of both standard 2D animation and also mixed in a bit of 3D animation to animate larger scenes.

I will admit, that there was a few flaws and some bad scenes had some bad facial animation at some points. It could have been fixed with different camera angles and better editing. However that did not detract me from disliking the entire series of films, which I hold in high regard.

It all falls down to aesthetic and the visual style the production company is aiming for. It is important that the anime looks as similar to the style and aesthetic used in the manga it comes from. While Berserk would look amazing if it was all 2D hand drawn, it would need the budget of a Hollywood studio to do that. While the transition from manga to anime is not always applied and the very real lack of funds to production costs, 3D animation is then used. Despite Liden Films being a new production company if they manage to balance the 2D/3D animation in the series well enough, then it should be a great success. Either way I will definitely enjoy it regardless of the animation style used.

must say after along time not watching Naruto im glad its back to kinda being on track

Likewise, now lets see how long it takes to derail it into fillers again! Probably going to end this year sometime, possibly Oct/Nov but it be later.

yello fellow anime fans.

I would like to pick your brains about other Anime that are really roll on the floor laughing funny. Not like FLCL, as that was just too damned crazy. I'm talking Great Teacher Onizuka funny. Startle a laugh out of your belly kinda funny. I enjoyed Naruto that way, but that show never ends...

Help much appreciated.
