Best PC Controller

I use my old DS3 controller.

On a side-note, does anyone know where to get replacement buttons for the DS3, with the XBox button layouts? ie. XYAB

Where would one get cheap thumb grips for the 360 controller? My left analog stick is starting to wear away from long use and I'm having trouble tracking thumb grips down. TakeAlot is the only place I've seen so far, but I don't really want to pay R177 for them because they used to go for about R30 or so.

I have had a loitech controller, because i did not like the layout of the xbox controller, but after i got a xbox 360 controller for a birthday and really started using it, i got used to and for ease of use there was nothing better.

Extend your search farther than Takealot. Even required, go as far Gumtree.

I did some research, and the Logitech F310 (for wired), or F710 (for wireless) came up quite often. the button press is quite noisy, and it doesn't have force feedback, but it it pretty robust for the price you pay

F710 has vibration. I've had one for more than 2 years already. F310 doesn't have vibration. I'm not sure if the F510 is still being produced, but it used to be the wired version of the F710, with vibration and everything.

Well i have to agree with metalsoup. Been using xbox wireless controller now for about 7 or 8 years and nothing is better.

the speedlink torid has amazing battery life and has good connection with the pc, the buttons are indicated as the xbox keys in game as well ( eg. x y , a b and so on)

while the xeox

the buttons arent indicated as the xbox buttons (x y a b) instead in game it indicated it as ( 1, 2,3,4,5 and so on so was a mission finding out which button was which)

so i recommend the torid
