The new season of Diablo 3 is set to start on the EU servers tomorrow at 16:00 SA time (17:00 CEST), so I hope you all have an early day booked.

Just in time for Worker's Day weekend too!

It looks like the new patch is buffing a tonne of items, and fixing a few issues. Full patch notes on Battle.net. Notable changes include:

Monster: The Merciless Witch (Uber Maghda)
-- Removed her shields in both the Realm of Regret and Realm of Fright
-- Significantly increased her health in the Realm of Regret

Greater Rifts
-- The amount of incoming damage in Greater Rift 70 and above has been reduced
-- The amount of Experience granted in Greater Rift 70 and above has been reduced
-- The cost required to empower, and gold awarded by a Greater Rift above rank 70 has been reduced, but the ratio of gold earned to empower cost remains the same
-- Fixed an issue that caused Urshi to always introduce herself to players

Bounties
-- In the event that both Act III and Act IV bounties are complete, the bonus act will now always be turned in first

Items
-- Legendary potions can now be salvaged and will yield a Forgotten Soul

Season journey

Blizzard has a first look of the Season 6 journey up on Battle.net. A first look of the Season 6 rewards is also available.

Haedrig's Gift

Haedrig's Gift gives you the items from a single set for completing certain objectives. As in the previous season, there are 3 objectives, each giving you 2-3 set items when you complete them.

You can only earn one full class set per season.

The objectives for Season 6 are:
  • Chapter III: Reach Level 70
  • Chapter IV: Defeat Izual at level 70 on Torment II or higher
  • Chapter IV: Complete a Greater Rift Level 20 solo.
Completing them will give you the following set pieces, depending on the class you claim the reward with.
  • Barbarian: Legacy of Raekor
  • Crusader: Armor of Akkhan
  • Demon Hunter: Embodiment of the Marauder
  • Monk: Inna's Reach
  • Witch Doctor: Zunimassa's Haunt
  • Wizard: Delsere's Magnum Opus

Extra Stash Tab

Beginning in Season 5, players could earn an extra tab in their stash by completing the Conqueror tier in the Season journey. In Season 6, this will require the following:
  • Complete a Torment X Nephalem Rift in under 4 minutes
  • Level 3 Legendary Gems to Rank 55 or highter
  • Complete any two Conquests
  • Kill Rakanoth in under 15 seconds on Torment X
  • Slay Greed on Torment X
  • Clear Greater Rift 60 Solo

Conquests

Blizzard provided the following handy graphic showing all the conquests. Since you need to complete two of them to get the stash tab, you might want to plan which ones to aim for so long.

Cosmetic items

Patch 2.4.1 also comes with a stack of difficult-to-obtain cosmetic items, while the Season journey also contains the usual suspects: transmogs for the Conqueror's set, a new portrait frame, and a new pennant.

I was thinking of switching to Wizard as my main for this season, but after messing around on the PTR and reading the patch notes I've decided to stick with my Monk.

Really hope they fixed the Earth Ally health drop issue this time, like they promised.

Stoked to see they fixed Uber Maghda, legendary potion salvage, and Urshi introducing herself every. single. time.

Nice! I'm still very far from having the gear I need for my build :-( I'm even using this season's set (Inna's)! Getting there, though. Got a set of Focus & Restraint much earlier than in previous seasons.

Tried out Barb for the first time. I got really lucky on drops and can already do two player Torment V easily while carrying. :D

Nice! I'm still very far from having the gear I need for my build :-( I'm even using this season's set (Inna's)! Getting there, though. Got a set of Focus & Restraint much earlier than in previous seasons.

The witch doctors are OP this season, we have one with us who just waltzes thru it all with a blindfold on :P But yea I should be able to run T8 comfortably tonight, last night I was coasting T5. Our group even did a GR47 or 48 with time to spare :D It is such fun again, plus I have gotten 2 of the new pets already. We are still farming them as well

I was also wondering so did some searching. Here's the low-down.

New Wings:
Cosmic wings from a purple unicorn in Whimsydale (new mob, Princess Liliah)
Falcon wings - found in a "Mysterious Chest" in Gardens of Hope, 1st tier
Wings of Kokabiel - Uber Magdha
Lord Culsu's wings - Regular Magdha in Alcarnus
Osseous grasp - Adria
Dark Bat - Rift Guardian Tethrys

New pets drop from Menagerist, Napper of Pets Goblin. He appears exclusively in Adventure Mode Open world (Bounties). Not in rifts.

On the cosmetic wings...

I'm reading conflicting reports, but apparently all but 2 were removed before patch 2.4.1 went live. The intent was to keep wings "special," since they were previously only available as a CE/pre-order bonus and for meta-achievements.

Ones still obtainable is:
Cosmic wings from a purple unicorn in Whimsydale (new mob, Princess Liliah)
Falcon wings - found in a "Mysterious Chest" in Gardens of Hope, 1st tier

Both "sources" are low spawn chance, 100% drop chance. So if you find one, invite your friends me before opening/killing "whistling:

hehehehe yea I can say that the falcon ones are real. .. . Iknow someone who has it. We havent found anything else.
 
Enjoying this season. Multishot DH is a killing machine!

Finally got my falcon wings last night and managed to get the Liv Moore pet also. Now it's just to get the last piece of the staff of herding to start farming the rainbow portrait, hunting the white item transmogs and many more goblin runs for the remaining pets and cosmic wings.

Must collect them all.

Thanks again for giving me a chance to join for the wings. Im still looking for the Liv moore pet as well as all the others, cosmic wings and pets!

S6 Patch 2.4.1 finds
Rainbow Goblin Locations:
The Menagerist goblins also use to spawn on these locations.
-Weeping Hollow (Chance for bandit shrine also)
-Caverns of Frost lvl 2
-Northern Highlands
-Southern Highlands
-Core of Areat
-Leorics Passage
-Leorics hunting grounds
-Royal Crypts
-Ancient Waterway Eastern and Western
-Gardens of Hope Tier 3 (only Menagerist and Bandit shrine, no RBG confirmed yet)
There is a rumor that a Rainbow goblin can spawn once per game and can be anywhere, but to run the whole Sanctuary will take too much time, will confirm this once we tested it.
There's a rumor that Kadala might give better items if you have a Topaz in helm, and a cubed Leorics Crown (*Not confirmed, when we tried it, it was just random luck, and with some rolls u get nothing from 900 shards)
Farming Falcon Wings in Gardens of hope T1 can be done on any difficulty from T5-TX (haven;t tried it on lower). There is no certain confirmed spot so check all the chests. We found our wings with doing 6 runs on each difficulty cycling from TX-T5
Chest spawns have a certain rotation between 6-8 different places per difficulty between T5-TX (From what we have seen and tested so far, could be more or could be less)
Menagerist goblins spawn better from what we have found if there is more people in a game, and not finding one in a long time (4-5hours) we usually find one in the vault (This could just be pure luck but i thought might as well put it here)
So far no luck Farming Ravi on TX, if anyone knows of a different difficulty they found him on, would be much appreciated, and if anyone has found him Non-Seasonal.
Once we have seen that a Cursed Shrine became a bandit shrine.
There is no other wings available for farming from mobs this season, and might be brought back in upcoming seasons. Don't go waste time on farming Magda and Uber Magda. The mastery dungeon wing reward i am unsure about. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/20418902548

I am always willing to help, you just need to be fast tho, the group is always full :p
But we can always split up and get you 70 in the matter of 20mins
