Morning, everyone!

I know Hyundai and Kia build in the same assembly line and share lots of parts, but Toyota and Hyundai?

I bolded and sized up the confusing make/model in my quote: Toyota... Atos. It was meant in jest with buckets of sarcasm.

I'm sure you meant to say Toyota Aygo, right? Or Hyundai Atos? Or even Toyota Etios?

You see, the flu-brain is dumb. I did mean the Toyota Aygo, thanks!
PsychoFish: The 1 litre cars of Toyota, Hyundai, and Peugeot do share the same engine and a little of the front suspension tech, mostly as an effort to drive down costs. I'm not sure that the models I referred to are the 1 liter models, but the engine share thing did happen.

It was Diahatsu, not Hyundai it's a common misconception. The Hyundai motor group had a limited run with platform sharing (2 models , 2 manufacturers - 1 platform) in the late 90's early 2000's but they have never shared powersource, powertrain or drivetrain outside of the Hyundai/Kia range.

It's either the Hyundai Kappa or Epsilon Engine (both came in 1.0l variants). The Kappa is used in the i10, Picanto and Rios wheras the Epsilon was used in the Atos.

The Daihatsu used a Toyota KR engine and is used in the Toyota Aygo, Daihatsu Charade, Citroën C1 and Peugeot 107

Alright, haven't gotten sick yet. Our office is colder inside than the outside which is just horrible.

Been threatened with overtime at work. Will see if that materialises.

By cold do you mean 12 - 13+ degrees?

We've been having a shitty summer. It does doesn't want to climb over 10 degrees. I think we've had 3 days of awesome warm sunshine so far.

In other news... I need a fucks capacitor.
