It feels like Pierrot is saying "Finally! The Final Fight of Finality! Except the Final One!" as opposed to "Finally! The Final Fight of Finality! This Time We Mean It!" This weeks episode was filler once again, but next week I hope they really do enter into canon. Naruto has been dragging on too long and we need to see this through to the end.

You have more patience than me, and I'm a patient mofo

I'm so not feeling Big Mom, to me Kaido & Jack seem like more legit threats to the Straw Hats. I'm even more worried about Teach & he's not even involved at this point. Any One Piece viewer care to weigh in?

The last time I watched One Piece, Franky had just joined the Straw Hat crew....I know, I know, that was at least 5 years ago :wtf: . Once we have an uncapped line , I'll catch up :D.

Suuuuppppeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr! Lol, the pacing is sooo slow, but it gets really good at times. You really should watch.

Yeah, I'll download it when I can. I started reading the manga back when I was in Primary School and then started watching the anime in either 2009 or 2010. I actually have a hard copy of one of the volumes.

So I finished fairytail (haven't watched fairytail zero yet) and I must say I need more... like maybe 3 more seasons...

Gonna continue watching Naruto and full metal and one piece... backlog galore. ..

Hehe, I remember the guy that convinced me to watch One Piece telling me to power through the first 100 episodes or so and there'll be a reward at the end of it. At that time, apart from Shippuden I was shying away from anime that felt like a big commitment and was mostly going for the new stuff I could quickly catchup with, or the 12 and 24 ish episode shows. My binge watching nearly went out of control after that.

I never could get hooked on Fairy Tail, I binged the 1st season expecting to be wowed like I was told I'd be, but I guess friends ruined it for me with way too much hype. But I can't help but wonder where the story is headed, it seems to be building up to some bad-ass resurrection/reanimation of that evil wizard they kept mentioning. Maybe I'll get curious enough to resume where I left off someday. I assume by full metal you mean Full Metal Alchemist, if so then that's a good one.

Fairy tail is pretty good when you get to the final arc of the first series. Sadly it's fillers are atrocious and almost put me off the show all together, I skipped through them all and was pleasantly surprised at how it all comes together in the Wizard Tournament Arc.

Full Metal Alchemist the old one or Brotherhood, which is actually based on the manga. The first iteration deviated from the manga quite a bit.

Both are very good in their own ways. Brotherhood is so much more amazing if you have watched the original prior to watching brotherhood.

Hehe, I used to stack up my anime watch list real nice and long, but thanks to some unreliable tech, I lost it all. I still get teary when I think about it.

I used to do that too, then they started to come out faster then I could keep up, and my studies and work got in the way. Now that I have focused on my studies to finish up, it seems like I have less time.

Hehe, I'd think someone talking about Full Metal Alchemist would mean both unless they specify which they mean. I guess that kinda tells just how different the two stories are that most just watch both. Although...
Brotherhood had a much more engaging story, and was a lot more emotive. You even got to 'understand' the stance of the homunculus. So, Brotherhood :p

I know just what you mean, I used to watch something like 10 episodes a day average, twice that on some days, but now it's an episode or 2 a day, if I can squeeze it in.

I watched both, I personally felt that Brotherhood was better as it had so many more characters that were left out in the "old". It was interesting to see the roles played by each character building up to that final battle. Plus, the ending had me tearing and smiling simultaneously :D, where as the first iteration just made me miserable

The second I am done with my exams I am going to binge watch shows in a day. It also makes it easier that I resigned from my job to finish off everything, needed a change of pace. I needed more time to watch anime and game.

I know I'll eventually give in and just watch it, the conditions have to be just right. Shippuden filler + no One Piece episode = weekend of trying to find something good to watch, which is how I got into finally watching it in the first place.
