[MyGame] Dark Souls

Sorry, think I misunderstood the original question. I thought you were asking what game in the series, not the next [MyGaming] Game.

I actually understood the question correct, however now that I think about it, the next MyGame title should probably be something different, so people that didn't join now can/will join.

This is what I currently look like. Also killed the Four Kings now, however I think there is more to still explore in New Londo, so I'll go back there when I get time again.

Have you made it to the bosses yet?

Because I had the most frustrating morning. I wanted to summon someone to help me but in doing so you have to become human. Four times in a row I was invaded and killed. This after it took quite an amount of time to kill the enemies in front of the door by the bosses. The first one I laughed. The last one I felt like throwing my controller into the tv.

So I eventually managed to summon someone, went inside and got murdered by the bosses. I try again. Get fucking invaded and killed. Try again. This time all my summonings fail and for some reason I can't even summon the NPC. Quite game and restart. Summon NPC. He gets killed as we are fighting the bosses. Boss only has a little bit of health left and then he kills me.

I was planning on playing some Dark Souls last night... but had a quick game of Rocket League before that and then landed up playing it the whole night (I'm now at "Pro" level though!)

Damn sounds like you had quite a rough time in Anor Londo. I got through that area this morning and killed Smough and Ornstein on my first attempt. If it wasn't for those broken pillars though it would be a different story. I found it easier to kill Ornstein first since he likes to get close more often. Just try to get them stuck behind a pillar and wait for Ornstein to break free, then get a few hits in. Then run to another pillar and repeat.

I'm just glad I can finally warp between bonfires now :).

You're playing on console right Soli? Otherwise I would have told you to drop a summoning mark then I would join your game and helps :/

Thanks but yes I'm on console. I'll get it right when I play again. Unfortunately this turned out to be a very busy weekend.
 
I'm very happy to say that I was able to play for an hour yesterday and finally managed to kill those two bosses. They were by far the most difficult bosses I've encountered so far. So now I'm in the catacombs and so far it's been very easy in there.
 
I finished the Catacombs which was surprisingly easy. Even the boss didn't put up much of a fight. Now though I'm in the Tomb of the Giants and I can see why the game is called Dark Souls. Had to leave my magic so that I can use a lantern and actually see where I'm going.
 
I might finish the game today. Just need to get through maybe 2 - 3 more areas. Surprisingly I've gone through the game twice as fast when compared to my PS3 days. Think it took me over 60 hours to complete back then.

Found a new set of armor in the Demon Ruins, which I quite like.

Also [MENTION=289]Jan[/MENTION], you didn't reply last time. How about an award similar to Balls of Steel for people who participated and finished the game? Then in the next MyGame we can get more people to participate. :)

I killed Gravelord Nito! So I finally made it to the first bonfire of the Duke's Archives. Funnily enough I killed Nito without dying but on my way to the Duke's Archives I was killed by one of those boars.

On the XBox One the Covetous Gold Serpent ring doesn't work at all. :(

Awesome! I'm also somewhere in the Duke's Archives at the moment, but haven't played at all this weekend. You caught up quite nicely :)

Still behind though! I cleared the Duke's Archives and killed Seath but now I got to take on the Four Kings. Busy with New Londo Ruins at the moment. Hopefully if I get time I can finish that today. Hey and then maybe by the end of next weekend I'll have Dark Souls done and dusted!
 
I got my DS4 remote working on the ps3, pizza is ordered, brandy is poured and the wife is away for the day. Lets do this

Im still in undead fucking burg. Still trying to kill the asylum demon. Using the time to practice my parry skills. But i have rage guit again. Im going to wimpy to calm down. Ill be back. Also dark souls is one of the games that does not support the DS4. Bummer.

I dont know why i find it so much harder this time. When i played it for the first time i found it much easier. Now i cant get past this goddamn asylum demon.

Nice. I still have to figure out how to kill (or even hit) Seath. I've died twice from Seath filling the whole floor with crystal spikes of death. Notes left on the ground said to use the ring - I thought they meant the ring that makes your movement silent, because Seath is blind, but that didn't work.

So I'll have to make another plan.
