I recently listened to the Watch Out for Fireballs! podcast of MI2 which made me want to play it again. It really is the best one in the series I think

hahaha! it's pretty good if you have a decent memory of MI2. otherwise I would recommend playing it again first

Another option could be the Dead Space series, either the original or 2 or 3. They've been in bundles so probably quite a few have the games. You could also get them with Origin Access so if someone doesn't have the game they could sign up for the month to play along with everyone.

Hehe derail as much as you'd like. It's the activity that we need. :) As for time frames, well we will have to wait for people to finish Dark Souls and then pick a game here and then start. So we'll probably only start the next one beginning next month, maybe end of this month if I have to guess. But then the previous one I also thought we will wait but everyone was so keen to start that we started early.

Let's see how the previous one goes. We are only a couple of people still in it. When we are finished we'll focus on this one. :)
 
I'm in! Just started an internship so my gaming time has been drastically chopped but if the game is in my library or cheap I'll consider it.

Haha I will also be playing that one. "whistling: But I don't think many of the others will be able to buy it. :( I was lucky that an awesome person gifted it to me. The awesome person doesn't even own the game himself.

The nice thing about Borderlands is that you really don't need to follow the story to enjoy it.. but if you want to, it's decent. Cons are that it's a pretty mindless shooter, and as such won't be everyone's cup of tea.

Games on my list I'd like to replay/play/think might work here/co-op/see others play and live vicariously:
Terraria
Civilization V (Depending on how many people would want to jump into an MP game)
Just Cause 2 (I still play this once a month or so, even if it's just for an hour. Go finish a base/town, blow some stuff up, get back to real life. It's currently my "I have 20 minutes to game" game)
Kerbal Space Program (for [MENTION=9789]DieGrootHammer[/MENTION]. If KSP had co-op, I'd immediately jump onto it with you!)
XCOM 2 (It's such a good game, but it gets so disheartening, that I'd really do better with some support!)
Max Payne 3 (I don't think I finished this..)
Homeworld Remastered Collection (A classic that deserves a replay)
Hitman: Absolution (Good replayability, I've seen it for cheap)
Dishonored (Different playstyles work, so good game to chat about and keep a thread active)
Borderlands 2
Shadowrun Returns (Neeeeed to finish this)
XCOM: Enemy Unknown
System Shock 2 (I was shocked at how many people haven't played it yet.)
Commandos 2: Men of Courage (I have no idea how well it performs on modern systems, but it's a goodie)
Metro 2033
The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Don't Starve Together (Did you notice the pun I made with System Shock 2)
Dungeon Siege (No seriously, it was a great pun. Shocked. I crack myself up.)

I kinda fell of the bus with the Dark Souls playthrough (too many new games distracting me), but I will definitely partake if Borderlands is next. Doesn't matter which one, I'll play them all again (am kind of actually busy with pre-sequel on and off). I have finished all of them multiple times but Borderlands is a franchise that I can keep playing forever.
