Does amazon ship to south Africa?

I've been looking around lately and i finally found a Graphics card that would fit in my slimline desktop
Here are the specs of my slimline desktop first.
I3-4170
Ram-4gb
Windows 10
1Tb hardrive
Graphics-Intel HD 4400... Piece a shit

So i checked on Amazon and found this-https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Computer-Graphics-Cards-N750TI-2GD5TLP/dp/B00SOXMPJY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1466791891&sr=8-1&keywords=gtx+750+ti+low+profile

Yes Amazon will ship that GPU to SA. All the fees will be included at the final part of the checkout. So you can check what the total cost will be.

Do note that there is no warrenty locally on imported items, so if it is faulty, you will have to send it back and that can become costly and time consuming.

You mentioned a slimline desktop, what make and model is it?

That item will be shipped to SA. When checking out and paying shipping and VAT will be added to the price. Total cost will come to around R 2,218.61. Rather buy it locally for around R 200 more.

Not many stores have stock anymore since it was replaced by the (more costly) GTX 950, personally I would rather wait till the 29th of June and see how much the new AMD RX460 is going to cost. It's seems to have as much power as a GTX 950 possibly more, as well as only use 75 Watt's of power. They are only launching on the 29th so we will have to wait until then.

Alternatively to what the guys above me said, keep an eye on Carbonite.co.za for 2nd hand GPU's. I had a quick look now and you can get a GTX960 for R2.5k (even saw one go for R2.2k). With the new gen of GPU's being released, the previous generation cards are selling for a lot cheaper 2nd hand

I'll take some pics in an bit, I doubt I full size GPU will fit , here is the name of it Packard Bell imedia S2870

Okay I found the model you are referring to, If I am correcrt you have the slim case:

Any standard GPU (including the one from amazon) is not going to fit because the PCI-e slot is too close to the top of the case so you will need a single slot GPU. It also appears that the slots at the back are not full sized, so you'll need a GPU with a short back plate which is almost impossible to find.

Easiest and quickest way would be to get a new case and power supply. The PSU in that case is a SFX/AFX PSU which is probably less then 250 watts.

I guess i'll just take the motherboard, cpu, ram and hardrive (if possible) and transfer it into a new Case, Can you provide me with a cheap case under R600,and probably wait for the RX460 to come out,Also no need to buy a new PSU as Some cases come with PSU's already installed.

I am going to be honest and say I would not personally recommend a case with a built in PSU, since it is prone to have problems, due to many of being of an inferior quality. Having said that if you do with to save a couple of Rand and purchase a Case/PSU set, many sellers on bidorbuy are selling cases with 450W PSU's for around R500. Excl. shipping. You could also phone around local hardware stores, they some times revive pre-build cases with PSU's.

If you are planing on going for the AMD RX 460 you could get away with a 350W PSU since it's maximum power draw will be around 75Watts. The card is not officially out yet so I do not know the real specifications, other than rumors on the web, but looking at a picture of it, it has no power connector, so it is using PCIe power.

Coolermaster Elite 343 - R 460

350W PSU - R 566

450W PSU - R 616

It looks like a standard Micro-ATX motherboard. It will fit in any Mini Tower, Midi Tower and Full tower case.
