How are you supposed to check the hash? Usually I only install from app store, so I have no idea where to check

There are various ways to check a hash. I used a macOS utility called shasum. On other *NIX-based systems you can use openssl.

For Windows, you can use CertUtil, HashTab, or Raymond's Checksum Utility.

You can get Hash Droid from the playstore...if you talking about apple, 'fraid I can't help

Never watched a pokemon episode in my life, and know nothing about the "types" really. But as someone who played (and got bored of) Ingress for quite some time, its rather similar, and actually offers alot more to do in-between the portal capture points. So yeah, "i'm too mature for this" is actually an invalid and rather immature response to this
