[MyGame] Borderlands 2

I'm heading home after being stuck in Johannesburg all afternoon. Literally stuck - all routes would have taken me twice as long to get home than if there were no traffic.

If a tornado doesn't eat me up on the way, I'm hoping to get some Borderlands 2 in tonight.

Yeah sorry [MENTION=20]Solitude[/MENTION], was a pity we lost you. But we are now close to the end. The story is becoming super interesting!

Jack is an absolute douche bag for what he's done to Angel and now that he's captured Lilith. Those last two battles we went through, the one freeing Angel and the one fighting the Bunker, or BNK3R as it's called, has been the most fun I've had playing this game by far. Truly epic battles!!


I just wish I followed the story more closely, but 4 player co-op is distracting. I never seem to focus on the story and it feels like I'm just pulled along with everyone else.

That was an awesome battle. I had so much fun with it in my play through.

Unfortunately the power in our area goes down quite often. It was caused by the disaster that is Eskom, or City Power.

4 player co-op is very distracting. There are some parts that I didn't play at all. Other parts I played multiple times. And the story bits just flew by.

I'll start playing a bit earlier tonight to try and catch up. Luckily I've got tomorrow off. But then on Friday we are going away for the weekend and will only be back on Monday.

Yeah that's how I've gone through the game as well. Not a fan of doing games like that. But at least right now we are spending more time listening and focusing on the story and getting the experience. I will only be able to play tomorrow night again.

I must say that even though I missed the story bits I'm enjoying the multiplayer much more than I thought I would. :)

Since you won't be playing tonight, maybe we'll be at the same point in the game by tomorrow evening.

Yeah look, I've had a blast in the multiplayer. It's been super fun every moment (well, except those Clan War side missions). Just that I know I've missed on a bunch of story and yeah kinda bums me out. But yeah hopefully then tomorrow we can give the last push to the finish then
 
The game has been fun so far. I don't know if we missed out on the story or if it just became really exciting.
 
I won't be able to play the rest of the week :( (unless I use my sick day today to try and catch up on gaming instead of resting :p)

Which leads me to asking: When do you want to end the challenge, [MENTION=20]Solitude[/MENTION]?

I know there have been a few people who have had circumstances mess with their game time, and I will just have to push the story missions this weekend if we're calling the challenge at the end of the month.

Well from where you are you have about 2 hours or 3 to go before the end of the game :)

I reckon we can give people until the end of next month. I actually said there's no time limit which I suppose was probably not the best thing. :)

Then next month we can start voting on the next challenge and people can play their normal games again (No Man's Sky) or continue with this challenge and then we start the next one on the 1st of September.

How does that sound?

Sounds good to me. No Man's Sky, new Diablo 3 season... Those who finished the game can also give the end-game content a try. How's everyone else feel?
 
Im up for anything, Altho I wont be buying new games :P

So as long as someone wants to play borderlands I will be around - some of the dlc is just as much fun as the main story

If we pick something that you don't have then I'll get it for you.

And I'll probably continue with the DLC and side missions until the 12th of August. :)
 
Yeah I'm in for finishing up the game in the next week or so, then focusing on other games before we get into the next challenge. I wonder how many people are still in the challenge?
