Watch: Man gets No Man's Sky early, shares first footage online

Saw a reddit thread last night. It does not bode well.

I think it will be an ok game for a while but its probably going to be like a lot like Spore.ie get boring really fast.

A matter or perspective I think.

A lot of people say/said the same about Elite, yet I still play it and enjoy it immensely.

yes.

Elite didnt have the hype bullet train either, peoples expectations are being blow out of proportion and they are buying into it all.

Fair point. And something I've been saying for ages is that people are getting the wrong idea of what the game is and what it's about.
 
Sweet really want this game, can see it's not for everyone but I have no problem doing the same stuff over and over. Hype is a dangerous tool, trying not to get too much info on the game, so if I eventually play it, I won't be let down in any way.

Ja, I've got to say, the hype it too high. But I think that NMS will scratch exactly that same itch that Elite did, and I loved Elite too. I should probably install it again, sometime.

I never did much more than simple trading runs and looking at the pretty sights while exploring, so I never got to the point where I could even comprehend why a second account would be useful! :D If/when I pick it up again, I'll definitely let you know.
