As already mentioned, the price tag of the headsets in the article are for the select few. Would be great to know what is a worthy buy <1K range. I am looking for a decent headset for my kids that won't get the missus enraged

Picked up a set of Logitech H800 for an absolute bargain (<R700 zar) and must say - really enjoying using them: Wireless, charges via USB, toggles between logitech receiver (laptop) and bluetooth (cellphone for skype), good range. Has definitely change the way I use headphones at home.
