Which new MyGaming logo do you prefer?

The current MyGaming logo has been with us a long time, but sometimes you have to let go of your nostalgia and do something new and awesome.

So we fed our creative hamsters a cocktail of Red Bull, Monster, and Vytautas mineral water last week, sending their productivity into overdrive.

This means we didn't receive one or two new logo design ideas, but roughly half a bazillion which we have carefully whittled down to the following three options.

Please take a look and cast your vote, and let us know what you think in the comments.

I begrudgingly picked option 2. Begrudgingly, because I genuinely like the current logo and favicon. [MENTION=289]Jan[/MENTION] [MENTION=20]Solitude[/MENTION] I think options 1 and 2's colours remind me of polygon, or some other gaming site. Might this be the familiarity trigger?
 
I like the second and third one.

I like the font and game controller vibe of the second one, and the elegance of the third one.

In the end simplicity won for me, so I voted 3.

In my case it's the bubble around "my" that looks familiar to me. I'm sure I've seen it recently... I just can't remember where. Going to bug me all day! :P
 
Font on the third one seems a bit off-putting to me, think it's the sharp edges.

Would probably go for Option 2.

Literally the only thing I have against number 3 is that it kinda feels like you need to know that it says myGaming to be able to see that it says myGaming. I love the styling it has, though.

That's the same bit that looks familiar to me. Maybe it's the winning logo and our minds are influencing us from the future because we have gotten used to it by then. The um future collective consciousness.

Or there's some company with a logo that has that bubble in the beginning.

pfft.... not even a quintillion?!

I voted for 2 becuase it works nicely with the theme of gaming, though I think from a UX perspective the first is simpler and easier to see and work with.
 
I seriously dont like any of them i feel none of them are fun and represent this forum they all like like pretentious business logos... IMHO

The 'G' and 'A' in 'Gaming' of option 2 closely resembles a lemon or a lime.

Option 3 looks like it says " My anmina" or " Mya>mina"

Yeah I still think the current one is the best, but if I had to choose I would go for the second one

On first glance I liked the 3rd one best, however after looking at it for a bit, I have to agree with other comments. If you don't know it says MyGaming, you might miss it and see Myg>ming.

Is there a reason for the colour scheme that was chosen in the first two? Does it mean the colour scheme for the forum is changing as well? The old logo is white and blue and so is the forum (predominantly).

I ended up voting for the 1st one, since it looks the cleanest of the three, which I like - that being said, I'm unsure of the colour scheme.

i dont like any of them... the colourschemes doesnt work...

why must the logo change though?

how about having the font from the first one in dark grey and then keep the pac-man ghost somewhere in the logo? perhaps make it the A?
 
I picked the second one, the third one also ins't bad but isn't very legible, all of them feel as if the site layout and colors would need a redesign as well especially when it comes to the more modern look of the third one, the first one feels like a comic sans version of a logo not serious enough must be the bubble thing

Option 2 if I had to choose one

The teardrop (bubble) has been used to death and option 3 is hard to read, and had the look and feel of another logo that I can't quite place at the time of this post...
 
i like the current one more than any of the new ones

there should be an option to keep the current one :p

If There must be a change the i will have to go with Numero 2
 
Colour schemes can change, so if you guys have ideas for colours that you think might look cooler, please suggest them.
