It's not a game for everyone. Just like Elite isn't, a game I've put close to 1000 hours in. And this will also consume a lot of my time.

Got a review copy yesterday (PS4) and [MENTION=14403]AnibugZA[/MENTION] and I put in a good 4-6 hours together (me with 4 before crashing, her with 6 or so).
Read Jim's review this morning before looking over our footage, and it got me thinking. Then I read the 1.03 patch notes again and reviewed our footage.
I am now pre-ordering the PC version of the game for myself.

I have been waiting for this game since last year. I don't think I've ever been as excited about any game as I am about NMS.
2 days ago, [MENTION=289]Jan[/MENTION] and I finally settled on PC, and pre-ordering through Steam. I've waited so long I can wait a few more days for the PC version.
We decided to stick to the same platform on the off-chance that maybe, one day, in the distant future... our love will prevail and we'll find each other in the vastness of the Universe, against all odds.
...Then yesterday the n00bcake came home with a PS4 review copy of NMS!!.. and before I could even think to Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock him for first playing rights, he handed me the controller:wtf:, and told me to go wild.
I'm never going to finish my dissertation. "whistling:

Not like Planet Toxic-Rain-with-bouncing-penis-creatures-and-floating-solid-gold-lumps or Planet Radiation-so-strong-I'll-deplete-your-entire-zinc-reserve-in-10-minutes-and-not-have-any-nearby-to-mine.
On the upside, low security on Planet Radiation-so-strong-I'll-oh-forget-it means mining ALL the Heridium.
I hate Sentinels.
(@BeoTeK: I have no idea how to alter a planet name. Or animal names. YET.)
EDIT: I have just discovered the Options menu, and the ability to rename and upload things. w00p!
I have decided to keep my home planet's name as is. There were indigenous life forms, after all. What right do I have to rename their world?!?
