Its fucking epic. Played about 3 hours last night. It completely exceeded my expectations.

Thanks, I reckon Steam is the cheapest between the two.

I would have preferred to get a physical copy, but I haven't been able to find one online. Are they just not releasing a physical version here for PC?

Look at buying from their site if you want a Steam key, that way they get 95% of the profits while Steam only gives them 70%.

I literally cannot take the excitement and allure of this game anymore. I need it in my life. Alas, my PC is not up to spec to play it, and I cannot justify buying a PS4 just for one game. I'm at this point seriously considering buying a new GPU just to be able to play this game.

Ended up watching a few hours of streaming last night. It seems No Man Sky will go down this year as the most confusing game ever, as half of everyone playing it will hate it and find it boring, and the other half will be at the point of tears about how good it is.

yeah that's probably the better call. It's just not a PC game for me. I want to be on the couch when I'm exploring the universe :p

The thing is, you think that now, but although you're buying a console for the purpose of one game it never ends up being one game. Because you've opened that door, you now have access to other games you didn't before. I bought a PS4 only because of Bloodborne, that doesn't mean that's the only game I have on the console.

Xbone Controller, Steam Link. Done!

Ironicly nowadays consoles can be played seated at a desk. Even with out plugging it in to your monitor.

Life is good.


Oh and No Mans Sky is not just going to be some newer shinier version of Spore is it?

You speak the truth Beo, but I neither need nor want another console in my setup. At the moment I've spent way too much on my Xbox One and pre-orders on it that I probably won't use the PS4 ever after playing NMS. Also, seeing as NMS is available on PC and I already have a working PC, I just need a better GPU, I can upgrade my PC and play the game without running the risk of exposing my Xbox fanboi hands to the coodies of Sony...

Also NMS is just a timed PS4 exclusive (AFAIK) and not even that exclusive since its out on PC too (well in a few days) and should end up on XBOne in a few months.
