The Official Battlefield 1 thread

Yip, can't log in. Bastards.

Just finished installing my new GTX 1070, reinstalled Windows 10, downloaded BF4 and BF1. And .... can't play. :(
 
ah fucking idiot kiddies, rush home (these damned family birthdays are cutting into my gaming time! :p ), thought I'd play a game or two and no connection...where anonymous when you need them....
 
There are no SA servers ... the people who think they have less than 100 ping aren't seeing the 1 or 2 hiding behind bar-graph next to the ping number. So they are seeing 1(80) or 2(40) and not seeing the 1 or the 2... people just need to open their eyes.

P.S EA got DDOS'd by Poodlecorp last night , thats why no one could play

That's terrible news I thought that maybe at least one server would be rolled out before the end of the beta :(.
That being said I will hold off on my purchase definitely not buying this if there are no South African servers.
The Africa option in the filter option does instill me with hope however.

It totally sucks that their servers were DDOS'ed last night. I pretty much only had last night available to play the beta. Oh well, will wait for the full release of the game then.
 
If we don't have confirmation of local servers by launch I'll be refunding my game as well.
I love the game thus far, it's been so much fun lol. I can see myself playing this a lot more than I did BF3 and 4 combined.
 
I tried it out a bit last night on PS4 and I seriously enjoyed it. But it is very similar to Battlefront, and I love that game.

The local server thing doesn't bother me... Fiber WIN "whistling:

Yeah, it does, the whole UI feels like Battlefront and the scoring system at the end of the round is like it too, and yes, I dont care either, Battlefront is great.

Yea, if they haven't announced local server by launch i'm out as well. I really enjoyed playing battlefront and i thought not having local servers wouldn't effect me that much but it did. So lesson learned!
 
dunno if u know but the game is bugged with class progression, only the 1st round counts to class score. Go to battlefield.com and you can unlock everything there without achieving the rank.
 
Dudes, this game absolutely ROCKS! I am definitely buying Ultimate IF we get SA servers.

Apparently if you play a round, finish it, leave the server and join a new server, your rank accumulates.

It's the if that I am worried about but I have to agree the game is very good I don't know what the other people are on about
 
I've logged 11 hours in the Beta...That's more than half of my play time in COD Ghosts xD
I'm enjoying the crap out of it!!!
