What movie did you last watch thread.

Jason Bourne.

Jason Bourne, once again sets out to find a government official to take revenge against, and uncover his past.

As it stands right now, I think they should put this series to bed, considering the previous film was in 2007.As for the actual film it's self, it did have some fairly good moments in it, the suspense was there, but having watching 3 films already you know the outcome of the film fairly early. The action sequences where far and few between, and I found that it also did not have that intensity that the other films had. Opening sequence was amazingly done, beyond that it seemed to wind down quite a bit to the end.

Judge Dredd (1995) One of those movies that I can just watch every now and then, it feels like they did everything just right, humor, action, cheese, etc. Prefer it over the 2012 Dredd.
This is purely from a movie point of view, I have no knowledge of the comic books.

I agree 100%. Every time i say this to people i get weird looks. Something about the original movie just makes it a way better IMO.

My sons want us to go watch Suicide Squad tomorrow night. I have to tag along because of the PG rating. I'm going to try persuade them into watching the new Star Trek. ;)

Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away. Became a little annoyed with Spirited away because silly me downloaded an English dub. English voice acting wasn't all that atrocious, still irking nonetheless.

Now You See Me 2

I think I should rather stop watching movies, or perhaps sequels. So much disappointment.

The first was great, something fresh and new, also done very well. The 2nd....Isla Fisher did the best trick of all the horsemen, she disappeared from the movie.

The whole movie felt tacked together, like several writers worked on it with their own unique ideas and then smashed it together, the ending made me cringe...

So you're saying it was good? It's on my list, and I'm kinda putting it off due to the first movie..

"good" is such a strong word.... It's entertaining and still ridiculous at the same time. But it's more true to the source material at least. Needs to be watched the same way you would watch a Fast & Furious movie, with your brain switched off.

Captain America: Civil war...

Possibly the most over-rated superhero movie I've ever seen. I didn't enjoy it, I thought the plot was weak and the villain a little shit. Although he had all the motivation there is just no way a single man could pull off what he did.

Sure, but I'm watching a movie about human sized mutant ninja turtles... so.. check. :D The first one tried too hard to take itself seriously, and while I enjoyed the baddie and the team interaction, I couldn't forget how bad Megan Fox and Will Arnett fit into the picture. And I love Will Arnett :(

it doesn't get much better in this one...
