It could very well become devalued over time. Hopefully people take into account the year it was earned. But lets not be negative right away.

What I see happening is government messing up the Universities. What will then happen is that private universities will pop up, there are already plans to change regulations so that private institutions can call themselves "Universities". So listed companies like Curro and AdvTech will most likely fill the void. People will stop going to our established Universities and Start paying more to attend these private institutions because no one will trust the value of a degree from UCT for example. Then we can be like America with super huge student debt just to get an education.

The problem is if you are not currently a student, the difficulties that we are experiencing is becoming silly. My company is also rebuilding some of the buildings at Stellenbosch that burnt down acouple of years ago, so far stellies have been lucky with the drama, it has interupted our work tho.

Morning TK

Grrrrr...can we get the cops to start firing tear gas and rubber bullets. Roads are blocked around my work as it is right by UCT. Bloody retard students

I can tell you they want to. They are just scared of the repercussions. It is pissing me off that we have to treat protesters and people who burn down buildings with kid gloves just incase we hurt one of them. They will not even pay for the destruction!

Screw them, it's no longer a peaceful protest. Send in the military.

Ja, the strike culture we've got going is really annoying. Besides the obvious fact that striking and protesting isn't magically going to make money appear, people get screwed over badly by unions telling them to strike. A customer of mine had their workers striking a couple of years ago. They didn't work for 6 weeks, foregoing 11.5% of their annual salary, in order to secure a 10% increase. But the union guy doesn't care, he got his cut!

Ah.....the joys of being on leave. No pesky firewall. Extended gaming, reading and sleeping hours. More time for VOD services [Mr Robot on ShowMax]. I have fired up the Xbox 360, and am getting into Sacred 3. :-)

Life has been good to me this year.

That's great!

However you don't visit us anymore so we don't know who you are anymore. For all we know you are someone else now.

it looks like Staff Writer made a mistake in the MyBroadband article. Abzo saw that the times booked were most likely different. It's an interesting one.

Heya. I didn't see the dates listed in the article. What I do know is that this test came from real-life experience. Our writer was actually trying to book (a) room(s) and those were the prices they were provided over the phone.

They could confirm the booking and receive the rooms at those rates.

From the other comments, this does not seem to be uncommon. I've seen the same thing when trying to book rooms at smaller places too.

Haha yeah I saw that the dates were actually correct! I used Booking.com to book a holiday and the article scared me. Luckily it seems that the price I paid is the same as when phoning the place.
