Started playing last night and still getting accustomed with everything, these types of games aren't exactly my strong suite. Enjoying it, but only level 7 or so.
I'm level25 now, playing a Warder (Shaman & Soldier dual spec). So far it has been smooth sailing, and I have been lucky, getting some nice blue weapon drops to keep my damage up.
I got to 24 last night, weirdly enjoying the game a lot more than right at the start, so much has changed and been polished. I kinda screwed my build up a tiny bit, going arcanist and occultist. But having lots of fun, I am more than willing to help anyone out, I realised last night tho if you had already done the area, it stays explored for me. The other big irritation was the weird lag spikes. I was connected to czc 's game, most of the time 90ms but it went up to 8000 at one point I even lost crusader completely, he just dissapeared from the map.... (and nope that wasnt when you went into the cave)
When we played with Jan and Xiphan the night before we also had issues with lag spikes. The game doesn't seem to have very good netcode.
I might need to reroll. I keep playing melee classes and think it's time to try out some ranged/magic builds. The commando tank looks fun though
to reroll we need tos tart fresh :S
For why now?
It was the only thing that drove me mental. But I am just glad that I am not the only one who has to scour an area to make sure every nook and cranny has been explored.
Sadly I think I missed a book when I was avoiding one of those larger hordes.
If you where an idiot like me and put the points in mastery - you dont get those back, just the skills and devotion.
I also took advice from Wlad and starting on veteran difficulty as well.
I actually have no idea what difficulty I am on, I know I am not doing Hard Core tho. Perma death is not for me
Yeah it's not hardcore, just adds a few more ads and elites afaik. But I like the small difficulty increase, Hiro and Wlad both said the normal mode was too easy and as a casual I tend to agree.

I have a feeling I didnt, dammit I will rather recreate then and do it on that.
You can just select veteran before loading your character in.
