Think it was 49,5GB-ish. Large. Month-end data, if you have it.

Word of advice if you are using two drives and don't want it clogging up space on your main. Windows store app installations don't allow you to select an install destination. Before you install go to Settings app, select System, then Storage from the left menu. Select a location for "New apps will save to...".

I had the option to choose which drive to install to but it was likely because I don't have enough space on my main os hdd for the game install.
 
I couldn't wait anymore. Got it off CDKeys for R850. Crackers for the rest of the month for me.
Doing some research into copy and install(steam style) since my friend is busy downloading his. Doubt it though.

What's the difference between the MS store and CDkeys version? I'm probably overlooking something but the MS store version looks slightly cheaper.

Microsoft Store is R999

If you mean vs the US store. Maybe CDKeys doesn't add tax and the MS Store does?
 
Really digging this. Putting in a lot of hours of late, seriously the best Horizon (or even Forza) to date.
 
Myself and my friend is doing Co-op(that sounds so bad, sorry I'm kak at english), so not really playing as much. But enjoying it quite a bit, just that in Co-op it doesnt seem like proper co-op, sometimes I see things he can't and vice versa.
Regarding PC performance, Installed the latest GPU drivers(AMD for me, but some nVidia people reported the same) and the performance seems a bit better on PC. That patch did nothing btw.
 
So, in my time away I managed to get to the last Showcase event. Compared to all the other races it was a bit of an anticlimax, but still one stupidly fun game. Also managed to finish a 5 lap race on Goliath set by one of my friends. Took just over an hour to complete, but at the end got a crazy amount of XP, spins and cash. It's a good way of grinding out some points. From that one race I managed to get 2 HE specced cars through spins.
 
I'm still loving this game, played a lot of it this weekend. Almost got all roads discovered :-P but yes, the game is stupidly long, but so enjoyable.

That was the first Diamond Achievement I found. discovering all the roads. It can become a pain to get them all as certain dirt roads doesn't always register all the way to the end, and it's rather difficult to find those that are missing. Next on my list is getting all the XP boards, but those bastards are a tougher nut to crack.
 
I haven't played in a while because my friend wanna co-op. Will push him a bit that we either bail on that, since his framerate is most kak(hopefully the Oct 20 patch fixed it for him) or just finish it. I wanna drive around dammit(btw he got all roads while waiting on me to download the game lol).

Yeah, some of those tings are on roofs and I don't even know how to get up there.
 
Yeah there is one close to a barnfind.... I gave up eventually. there was one on a lower roof I managed to get to eventually.
Oh... and trying to 3 Star Danger boards are fun and frustrating.... especially when the same blue Audi R8 gets in your way after every damn attempt.

Damn danger signs!! I get massive air and distance, only to crash down spectacularly and not completing the challenge. So many of those not completed due to 0/10 landings. Like that one in Surfers Paradise where you jump over the canal. F#ck that jump in particular.

The damn avatars also gets in my way during drift zones. At least the speed zones and speed traps has been going much better. Only have a handful of them to still 3 star.

Looool Lost my shit for the traffic and drivatars during the S14th Forzathon. Trying to pull off a 35k drift to unlock the S14 and constantly knocking traffic on initiation.

So, by now the die-hard Forza fans are probably aware that, despite all the different car packs being released each month, there are 3 big DLC packs that has released for Forza Horizon 3 to date. These are Blizzard Mountain, Porches Pack, and now the latest, Hot Wheels Expantion...

Honestly, this looks tremendous and something that I am definitely gonna be picking up very soon.

Also, big note for any PC players, with this Expansion comes a new update to the PC version of FH3, which users are claiming right now have effectively fixed all the performance issues of the game on PC. Apparently according to users on Reddit, the game is running smoother than ever on PC.

I read about the new DLC last night and bought it. I didn't know I needed this but I do.

I'm keen to see how the performance on PC has improved. I'm not sure I can go back to Xbox after experiencing 100fps Forza.
