Everyone who owned the original game + DLC got it for free... Sadly, I don't own the DLC, so I don't get that perk. Guess I'll have to mod my game or wait for a huge sale.
If your like me and many others you have realized the audio quality for Skyrim Special Edition is a lot lower. That is because Bethesda in their infinite wisdom decided to compress the audio files into .xwm instead of keeping the .wav uncompressed files. This mod fixes that issue by following the steps a Reddit user TI36X posted.
Just looking at Steam specials and wondering. If I now go and purchase the remaining DLC's to Skyrim, will I automatically get the upgraded version?
I was wondering the same myself.

Eligible Skyrim purchasers include:
Anyone that owns Skyrim Legendary Edition on Steam.
Anyone that owns Skyrim and all three DLCs (Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn) on Steam.
To ensure eligibility, you must own all Skyrim content on Steam on or before October 28th.
Cos I'm pretty sure that was a limited time option.
Skyrim Special Edition is now available on Steam for purchase. As a reminder if you own Skyrim + All DLC on Steam by the end of October 28th, you will be entitled to a free upgrade to Skyrim Special Edition.
