Haha. I had to hide mine (half sleeve size skull) from my mom for a year. My dad had already passed away at that time; he would not have been happy. Thankfully my mom has come to accept it and she even shows it off to her coworkers and friends when I get a new one now.

Nah dude, the pain is manageable. But it seems addictive, already contributing the next one, though the idea was always to have a sleeve collaboration of Souls inspired ink.

I wish, its actually stipulated in my parents wills that if we have any body art we are disowned.

^Agree with Beo. It's your life, it does not belong to your parents. Don't wanna sound like a dick or whatever but if my parents said that then I would tell them to disown me if that's what they want. It's my life (and body) and mine alone, I'll do with (and to) it what I want.
 
At the moment I wont push them, they have helped me out with my dental work aka paid it all and then I pay them back only half. So if that keeps the peace I can deal. Trust me I have learnt to be ok with it, I can wait, besides I still havent decided what i truly want as a tattoo.
