Xbox 360 Generic controllers

Hi guys

Quick one, does anyone know of generic Xbox360 wireless controllers?
The rate my son is going through controllers is going to bankrupt me soon, I was wondering if there is something generic(read cheaper) that might work?

I honestly don't know how people go through controllers like you say you do. Mine last for years. Maybe your kid suffers from anxiety or anger related issues?

It was a genuine question or concern. I honestly can't understand how you (or people in general) are able to have such a high turnover of controllers unless you're bashing them against surfaces or throwing them across the room. These things are extremely sturdy and rugged, the logic just does not compute.

I see at Bid or Buy there are people selling generic controllers. If you do a search for "XBox 360 controller" then you get some of them. I honestly don't know how good they are however and they still look pricey. In fact I'm shocked when I see the prices of controllers these days.
 
I got a thrustmaster wired controller, works great and lasted a good long time...but yea, gotta say that re-buying controllers is not exactly tackling the cause, merely the symptoms.

Maybe have the next controller come out of his bank account, then see how long that one lasts. You're never too young to learn the value of money.
