Hey Guys and Gals!

So, i wanted to her what your thoughts are on the Aorus products? I've read some reviews that they are quite nice but expensive, and I've also read that there is a new motherboard releasing from them? Any thoughts?

Am I correct in assuming that you are referring to Gigabyte Aorus?
The new motherboards you are referring to will be AMD's new AM4 platform and the newer Intel's 200 B/Z/X series boards for Intel's 7-series CPU's.

Aorus is Gigabyte's premium branded products, much like ASUS Rampage/Republic of Gamers and MSI Gaming X. You are paying more for LED's Gigabit LAN, 4+ PCIe slots, more M.2 Slots, better capacitors, the ability to overclock as well as a host of other features.

If you putting it into a windowed case with 32GB's of RAM, a water cooling loop and a i7-7700k then sure why not! If you putting it a non K-Series CPU's you just wasting money on making your PC looking good. There are way cheaper models out there, that serve the same purpose.

*edit*
Looking at other Aorus products, they seem to slot in between and around Corsair, Func, Coolermaster and Steelseries.

I do enjoy the products that Aorus makes, but the pricing here locally for their equipment is insane. definitely for the beefier wallet

It is true what you say, Aorus is quite expensive, but have you had any experience with their products and have your own reviews on them?
