How to escape any maze using maths

This solution will help you escape from any maze.

I seem to recall that continuous left (or right) turns will get you out of 99% of mazes.

i.e. Proceed ahead, if not possible turn left. Rinse & repeat.

Yea. stick your left hand out. touch wall. always have that hand touching the wall and you'll eventually get out.

The only problem occurs if the "exit" of the maze is in the center.
