Yeah, same here I think. Wanted to play last night but got greeted with an error, tried to verify files and it had to download the entire game again. Quickly just went until title screen and it seems to be fine again.
 
Yeah, I saw some ppl did that, but i cant download the freaking game on a freaking whim since i am on freaking 3G...i mean, its what, 20gb or something?

It's only about 6GB at least. Still a lot if you're on limited 3G I suppose. I wonder what caused this issue though.

oh ok, not that bad. must be confusing it with another game. At least not as bad as the Mortal Kombat 16gb something patch that breaks the game even more.

Does your save games work?
 
lol, shold calm down and google, easy peasy fix, save games work too.

For my specific error, (There should be 'PillarsOfEternity_Data' folder next to the executable) read here.

Yeah, I loaded my last save just fine now.

Looks like the quest log got updated a bit, something seems different about it.

Think I'm going to start a new game anyway, not liking this monk so much anymore. Just looked at the patch notes and judging by all the stuff that got fixed/changed, I think a new game is not a bad idea.

That seems to be the same error I got. Wish I did some googling last night, could have played then instead of waiting for the whole game to dload again. [emoji14]

Fixed my gpu finally(baked it) played some pillars. Awesome game. Finished the quest I started before my gpu died. :D lots of treasure to find.
 
I have to start again.

I jumped into the sacrifice pit. And I can't get out had only one thing of supplies and now I am stuck
 
Yeah, I saved before doing that, did it, thought, hell no, went back to saved game. Then later I found the staircase, when almost to bottom, you get fast travel options to go topside quicker.
 
Stuff it I saved I started a new game. Godlike moon druid. Wow the druid is power.

Started playing this game yesterday and I already have 12 hours in it. Gosh it is fantastic! Definitely strong Baldur's Gate vibes. I bought it on Tuesday (I think) because it was on Steam Daily deal. I should have bought the 2 DLC's as well; reading on Steam that it makes the game better.
Oky back to Pillars of Eternity now :D
 
Yeah I am also busy with it. Doing the endless path quest now. My main is a monk she kicks ass.

I see thats when I stopped playing hahaha. Doing a lot better on my second run.

I got to level 4 of the Endless Path. Level 5 they kicked my ass (I'm only level 5 though). So I'm continuing with the main quest and other side quests for now and will go back later. I finished Act 1 last night.

I am about level 8 and I think I am on the last floor but I think I need to level up more got my ass kicked.
