Hey Guys,

Im really keen on playing Chess, recently got back into it, are there any like minded individuals here? :D

Iv found an online site that is actually quite incredible. It gives realistic ratings based on your skill level, it has all the top players around the world, you can watch games, and play against friends or evenly matched opponents. There is also a wealth of learning material on the site, and one thing i have been really enjoying is the tactics trainer. It gives you board states and you need to try and find the best solution in an allocated time. Here is a referal link for those interested,

Add me as a friend if you do sign up! Its completely free, but i am considering the "upgrade" to a paid member, purely because of the incredible content on the site... And the fact that the tactics trainer is limited to 5 puzzles a day :p

I play a lot of chess on a couple of different sites. I'm currently an admin of the South African team at chess.com.

We can play sometime. :)

Wow thats awesome man! We must def have a game! Have you ever had a look at Chess24 ?It really is the best chess site iv come across...
 
i bought a glass chess set last year, havent opened it yet and i occassionally play chess titans on my laptop
 
I haven't played chess in a long time. Would actually not mind getting into it and getting better at it. I totally suck at it right now.
 
I should probably start playing again. My brain has turned to mush lately, and I think playing chess might help with that.
