Xbox 360 VS PS3

Lol, I have no idea how that got there :p Must be the fact that I always go for the RPG in the survival matches to take out those damn mini-gun dudes.

^^ Uncharted has left a few people wondering if it's not xbox thats holding back the PS3 on multi-platform games. I Love both consoles, however if I had money to buy either or, PS3 would win - Sony have show reliability, and as a pc gamer, I don't wanna pay a subscription to play online (especially since from what i have seen Xbox live isn't even properly supported here)

What does being a PC gamer have to do with not paying on online subscription?

I'm pretty sure I still have to fork out R120 a month for my subscription despite the fact that it's a PC game.

PC gamers don't pay a subscription to LAN. S/he meant its similar to PS3 in that sense.

PS3 or XBox gamers don't pay a subscription to LAN - you still have to bring them all together though. Online gaming can still cost you a pretty penny though, PC or no PC. So, no I still don't understand the comment.

Dont think he meant LAN, but game online. To go online we have to logon to either the XBL or PSN. The PSN is currently free but you pay subs for XBL.

Now we're going in damned circles! I assumed online gaming (as per PSN vs Live), and said I have to pay for online play on some PC games. I was then told he was referring to LAN, now you tell me he is not referring to LAN. People, get your story straight! Look at this:

Not all PC online gaming is free, so how in the hell does that relate to PSN being free?

with the recession kicking in for gamers i would go for PSN :-D

Since apparently this SA market is insignificant, lets look at subscription charges in the broader sense for overseas market. That being USD 49.99 / GBP 39.99 per annum or GBP 3.30 per month. This, in the UK is the price of a half-pint of beer! This is the equivalent of about R10 a month in this country, which is hardly going to break the bank.

Even in Rands that is R40 a month, which is a supersized Big Mac Meal!

Its much cheaper than a night out and it lasts a whole month.

OK. I gree with BurNThaM. I think Tyger meant online gaming. Hope that clears things up. :)
The subs we talking about is to the network irrespective of the game that is played online. Currently I know of no games on XBOX and PS3 you have to pay subscription to the "game"/"server" like on PC. I could be wrong though.

Is this debate still going? I thought we confirmed that xbox pwnes all.
