Subscription Services

What kind of subscription services do you use?

I seem to have settled into the humble monthly bundle and thats about it for me.

I see that some people use audible. I know that some people used to pay for WoW subs.

So what other subscription services are there?

I use a couple. Hmm let me think:
1. XBox Live Gold. Which gives a couple of free games per month, discounts and multiplayer gaming.
2. Humble Bundle Monthly. Makes my backlog grow substantially.
3. Google Play Music. I listen to music while programming every day.
4. Audible. This I use off and on. When the amount of books that I get become more than I can listen to then I pause the subscription.
5. Office365 and MSDN. I get these through Bizspark however.
6. Netflix. We used to have ShowMax too but they don't have an XBox One app so it was dropped.

Hmm those are all the ones I could think of now.

One day when its viable, I will def get a few subs like humblebundle, netflix and all that jazz, but currently its a case of deciding whether I need to eat or game

A fair bit. The gods have smiled upon me so that has shifted perceived cost/benefit somewhat. More likely to throw money at something if it makes life easier.

Skype - for phoning ZA landlines. Family is in ZA, I am not so communication related expenses = don't care about cost
PIA VPN - travel a lot so need to tunnel through dodgy wifi
Lastpass premium - for phone - again travel motivated
Various Usenet stuff - not sure what tbh. Think it's on block mostly now.
iCloud - photo storage - no point in spending big money on phone and then skimping on the fkin 20 zar storage plan
Google enterprise - mail
Some domains - mail domain
Some dating apps stuff - what a money blackhole
Netflix - yeah all good
Amazon Prime - mainly for the shipping benefits
Google Play - still on the cheaper ZA plan. Yay! Probably best value on list baring Prime - which doesn't ship to ZA
Now TV - came with cell contract so not technically a sub I guess. Haven't tried it. Looks meh

What's missing: Backup service and subscription to the economist. Too lazy for the 1st, and second is eish level expensive & struggling to justify it to myself. Also, headspace somewhere in future.

I see that some people use audible.
Tried it, but seemed like a waste for me.

Google Play Music x2 (wife and myself)
Netflix
Amazon Prime Video
Bitport
Unfuddle (work-related)
