DNS servers be teh only thing I could think would be causing a problem.

Project Zomboid is currently on special on Steam. I've been wanting to play it for years and have started last night.

I'll be playing in the evenings between 8 and 9:30 if there are people who would like to play multiplayer.

Yeah got a local host to enable it for us.
Sometimes 12 of us. But its been about 2 months now since we played. We all kinda waiting for the animation update.
The server is offline at the moment, but if you guys wanna play I wont mind starting it up.

Nice, thanks ArchieChoke. At this point in time it doesn't look like anyone's all that keen on joining me. Maybe I'll join you guys in the future when a major update comes out.

OK cool great. The game is pretty Fleshed out, it's just missing that last component.well I'll update you if we go full steam again.

Yes you can, check under your steam library under tools there is a dedicated server that you can run and run the client. I recommend you read the wiki page as it specificies how many days till electricity cuts off etc..

Yeah, it regularly stagnates on specific features. I bought it way back in its first iteration in 2011 and I'm not very impressed with 6 years of 'progress'. Been waiting for the new NPC system for something like 2 years now and it's still nowhere in sight.
