Do you drink coffee?

If yes, how much? What time of day?

If not do you drink something else with caffeine (tea, coke, redbull, monster)?

How do you manage your energy levels?

Yes of course! I tend to drink my first cup at 07:00-ish, then at 10:00 i go for a second. Normally i'd have another after lunch but that depends on how busy i am that day. Then again at 19:00-ish if i feel like drinking something warm

I drink my first cup at work just after 07:00, on quiet days I can work in a second cup later in the morning, but I've had days where I don't even finish my first cup of coffee and I never get to make another one. Those are sad days

Yes. Too much. Throughout the day. Some people would say I am addicted to coffee and they would be correct, in fact come to think of it there are probably more pictures of coffee on my Facebook timeline than there are of me! :p

To aid in my addiction I bought one of these beautiful machines in 2015 and I have been binging ever since:

I can also be a bit of a coffee snob (though I prefer the term purist because I have my coffee without sugar :p) as I decline coffee when offered as I do not want to risk being given instant coffee, especially if it's a godawful chicory based instant coffee like Frisco.

Yeah, I stop at Seattle Coffee Co. every morning on the way to work around 07h30 and get myself either a cappuccino, latte or breve.

I might have another cup of Jacobs around 10am while in the office.

Next cuppa comes when I'm home and my son is in bed around 8pm, and that's either Jacobs, Nescafe Gold or Douwe Egberts.

On average about 3 cups a day, I have cut down.

hahaha I remember you used to be a coffee fiend.

I currently have between 2 to 3 cups a day, one before work, one at lunch - maybe and then after dinner.

Otherwise I drink water - I drink about 2l in winter and in summer it will go up to 4l depending on the heat.

as for energy levels - what is that, I struggle with that a lot some days.

I read the title of the thread while I was taking a sip. I made one of those hug-in-a-mug vanilla cappuccinos this morning, needed a comfort beverage after a crappy sleep.

Depends on the day, but usually first cup around 5:40 after I get up, another with breakfast, two at work before lunch. After lunch, usually earl grey, then rooibos in the evening.

Preferred method of preparation: fresh ground beans, medium roast, made in a bodum with a few grains of salt, pressed with a very slow and steady push.

And I am by no means a coffee snob. I've eaten a spoonful of instant coffee when I was in high school. I'm a coffee addict, dangit! Without my caffeine, I get the worst withdrawal migraine. I've only had a couple in my lifetime...

Not a coffee drinker.

I drink Rooibos during the day at work. In the morning I have a 'normal tea' with milk. All with no sugar.

I don't really think me drinking tea affects my energy levels.

I try to limit myself to 2-3 cups of coffee a day. One in the morning, sometimes another mid-morning and then one in the evening. If I feel like another hot drink in the afternoons I'll have some tea.

I picked up a love for filter coffee about ten years ago after visiting Beaver Creek Coffee Estate. Started off with a plunger and then later on got a filter machine. I'm too budget conscious to be a real snob but I do enjoy good coffee.

I cut out sugar about two years ago from all hot beverages and I definitely could not go back to having sugar again.

i do about 4 cups a day, normally 2 cups filter (nothing beats that smell) and 2 cups nescafe gold or jacobs, and i limit myself to 1 cappuccino per week.

One in the morning one tea time and now and again at lunch depending on how busy we are at work. also one at night Douwe Egberts.

I love coffee, have between 10 and 20 cups a day. I have a Dolce Gusto machine at home and a filter coffee machine and a press. I want to order coffee from Cape town. just waiting for the reply. It's called Black Insomnia and its apparently the Highest caffeine content in the world(strongest)
