Asus gtx 1080 rog strix vs msi gtx 1080 gaming x

Which would you say is a better choice? I have recently had a 1080 gaming x so i know what im paying for, but on the other hand im not sure about the asus rog strix. Also would it be better to get the standard strix or the oc one?

11,999 for the strix and 12,434 for the gaming x but 10,499 at evetech for the gaming x. I have also seen a lot of people complaining about the strix with RMA issues.

Nope, i had a gaming x in the past so i know at least what im paying for, if i decide to buy the strix im not sure what to expect.

RMA's are handled differently in the USA/EU than they are here. I would not worry too much about it.

If I had R1 for every time some one on LTT Forums/Tom's or Reddit had a problem with ASUS/EVGA/Gigabyte/MSI/GALAX/Coolermaster/Razor... I'd be very rich.
