Currently whenever somebody asks, what is the best game VR game to get then Lone Echo gets most of the votes. It's a game that was made especially for the Oculus Rift and it's a single player adventure game. (Though there's also a free multiplayer arena called Echo Arena).

I haven't played it yet since I'm waiting for it to go on special. But it does look like the ideal game for VR.
 
This looks very cool. As soon as Ani is done with her degree I'll hopefully be able to get her this :)
