PC Building Simulator/

PC Building Simulator puts you in charge of your very own PC Building and Repair shop, where you must complete challenges to build your reputation and progress through your PC Building career.

Experiment with a large array of detailed and accurately rendered components from motherboards to CPU's that respond just as they would in real life. So, uh, okay. In another thread there was just a comment about when a game feels like a job. This literally is a PC tech job. Also, even if you are interested in trying, after building one PC in the game, why would you do that again? Also, most gamers are rather tech savvy. Most of them know and have built PCs in the past, so they won't really learn anything from this, unless it goes into detail about water cooling and stuff.

Perhaps people like [MENTION=16362]Flex[/MENTION] who likes building PC's, so he can check what the components look like in a certain case, so you can try all different combos and stuff.

I know the app/game/software thing only has a limited number of partners at the moment, but perhaps over time they will add a lot more, then you can build/assemble your PC as you would like it (also verifying that all the things fit nicely) before you buy a single component. If everything is nicely to scale this could be useful for hobbyist builders.

This is the only way in which this will be a decent piece of software. If you can do that, actually add real world parts into a PC to theoretically see the look and feel of the machine, hell even rudamentary benchmarking these real world components, then this will be an essencial buy for every PC owner ever. But if they try and gamify the game, its never gonna be more than YouTube fodder.
 
I'm just finding it interesting that you have "<insert menial job title here> simulator" popping up for every little thing
 
This can be very cool! But I do not think this will be marketed towards enthusiast builders at all.
I think it will be more of an educational tool.

Would be awesome if they do adapt it for enthusiast builders! Will save us LOTS of time and money!
But will not put my hopes on that happening, just too many parts and brands to consider and incorporate
 
I only learned about this game over the weekend and I love the idea of it. Will definitely give the demo a go. I am a sucker for games like these.
