no 4 is soooo true.... my girl plays decent SFIV but as soon as I tried to teach her ultra's and super's, she completely lost it.
(well not completly... I still lose on a regular basis

Lol, I think I actually have one for you...if you're ok with a girl who does yoga, freaks out about classics such as Monkey Island, Starcon, Diablo, DOTT and well...enjoys all gaming.

Hahaha....now that I think of it, I actually know 3 gamer girls. The one I had to beg for weeks to give me back my Oblivion IV!
And the other one I know does actually play real guitar.

Looking at the stats about 30% of all gamers are female and that number rises with each passing year, if i remember correctly last year the number was in the lower 20's. From my experience most of the female gamers that i know are more in the MMO scene than any other genre.

What stats are you using? According to the ESA figures for 2009, it's 40% female. Also, Females over 18 (34%) account for almost double the number of males under 17 (18%) of gamers. Among frequent players, men average 12 years of having played games, and women 10. 57% of online players are male and 43% are female. So a slightly higher percentage of females play online than males. I'm guessing you'll find the most female players in online trivia/puzzle/boardgames, which are by far the most commonly played online games, accounting for almost half of all online play. More female gamers will play those games, just because more people overall will play them.
What is interesting, is that from sales data for 2008, MMOs account for 6 of the top 10 selling retail PC games (WoW takes 4 places, split for original, BC, WotLK, and Battle Chest versions, then WAR and AoC). So in terms of retail games, you're probably right about the MMO part, speaking purely in terms of statistics here.
I don't really know what last years figures were, though.

The stats were from some article i read some time ago and what i could remember from it, though something that must also be mentioned is that those were more directed at console gamers and the mmo part was what they mentioned for pc gamers.
