There has also been long endurance races in previous titles where pitting for fuel and tires was a requirement.

I want to say I remember doing it in Forza 2 but it was a long time ago so I'm not 100% sure.

But what if I want to set up a 24h race? i.e. Le Mans


This was one feature I really loved about Grant Turismo 5.
 
i just want to get my console first

10 days till pay day :D , i doubt i'll have additional funds for forza 7 (thats what i get for renovating the damn house), im just gonna have to make do with my copies of forza 5 and horizon 2 until the money train rolls in again eventually :(

Sorry to hear that Dohc! Hopefully you can get it by Christmas so that you can enjoy it on the XBox One X. I'm only going to start playing on the new console.

hopefully if all goes well, but i'll probably get a black friday forza horizon 3 (since thats getting a one x upgrade) / forza 6 bundle special first. like they had the FH2/F5 special last year.
 
Now that I've spent some time with the new game, it's quickly becoming one of my favourites in the series. Most of the complaints of the game actually do make it more fun. Plus despite the "lying fake media" saying there are microtransactions in Forza, there is no method of actually buying any of the crates with real money.

So far I'm loving the campaign. I'm not just walking every race, and I actually need to drive well this time to win. Some tracks I just can't get to grips with (pun intended), and others I am clearly on a faster line than the AI.

I do wish the Ai was a bit more spatially aware. More often than not I get rammed off the road by a car trying to stay on the racing line. It can be a bit frustrating but does force you to be more creative in your driving style.

Also, this is the first Forza I've started off with no traction control, no stability control, and the second highest difficulty. It turns it into a whole new game and is really competitive and fun to race against.

I think my time spent with F1 2016 has made me a better driver alltogether. I drive differently, and Forza is perfect for my style.
 
I'm so tempted to get a copy, but want to finish f1 2017 first.
We had an early version for PS1 my brother and I used to spend hours playing.
 
I actually turned off Tracking and Stability as well. And agree with certain tracks I struggle with and others I pwn all. I'm not a great driver though, I think I put the skill on Above average. Only issue so far is that I have not modified a single car thus far. Maybe for your solo games or when you want to do the Seeker/Breakout opens.
 
Has anyone been able to play online? I can join lobbies, but can't find any games. My Xbox app shows everything is connected and open, etc. Playing on Windows 10

I haven't played Forza 7 yet but that's the problem I had with Forza 6. Most of the time it couldn't find any games except one day when it miraculously worked and then never again.
 
I've not tried extensively to find online games, but each time I've tried I was able to get a game. I've read on the subreddit that it is a common problem on PC though.
