well i go to bed at like 12 and end up waking up at like 4am it sucks honestly.... :rolleyes: and theres only so many games u can play and movies u can watch at 4 'O Clock in the fsckin morning :rolleyes:
 
True that. i jammed some Dota last night again...1h30am...a bit 'mentally unstable thanks to some herbal sedatives' and then got tired...only so much games you can play :p LOL!
 
I wish i had time to just play games for 6 or 8 hours a day like i did back in the day. Smokey you and me have to get that novel of mine into movie production so we can get rich and just laze around playing games and shit.
 
now you're talking. Yeah, I have my December to myself a bit. Might take a holiday. Gonna read it then, and see what I come up with. Will maybe look at doing a treatment (basically a short script induction of the novel). So that we know how it would flow as a film. Only thing I can warn you about, if I make a film, I don't fuck around. I'm not gonna be making Merlin or Dungeon Siege or any shit like that. not even shit like Eragon. You do it right, you do it big, you do it filled with action and suspense. Get me? Like LOTR did...make it a PROPER film!
 
Because production money flows like water in SA?

I know a fair amount about the tv/movie industry in SA, and it's not as easy to make that happen, I should think. Also, the industry as a whole is in a bit of a tight spot at the moment, which should make it a lot more difficult to get the effect you're after.

Actually, the thing that is in dire straits is the TV industry. Film is still very much alive, and we actually have a BOOMING film industry in Cape Town. With South Africa getting one of the biggest production facilities in the world (Dreamworld is the name of the place) doing big productions are actually going to be a fairly easy thing in the near future.

The only thing that is hard, is finding a director and producer. Someone who is interested in being behind your film and somebody to pay for it. The rest is just hiring people.
