I'm getting the same error for the updates. Just downloading the 1.01 to 1.20 and see it it does that as well. If it does, I guess it's uninstall time :(
 
i think what happened is after you installed IM and said yes to modify titan files the patch fails at crc check. going to try TQ -> IM -> patch without going through the "modify files" thing after started IM.

however the first time i tried the x-30 update it said version is allready 1.30 allthough screen showed 1.1...
 
I think the game might already be on 1.30 after IM.

I checked my registry and it says on there that it is version 1.30.

Edit: I think we need some way to chat :p

checked mine and it said 1.00.0000 for both.o well i gues it is 1.3 for TQ and 1.1 for IM.

Mine is on 1.30. I downloaded the 1.20 to 1.30 patch and tried to update. It said mine was already on 1.30

On the Titan Quest key in the registry, there is a version value (after the serial and install folder). Don't look at the sub-key under Titan Quest.

Weird. Have you tried the 1.20 to 1.30 patch?

I know what class I'm going to try: Druid.
I love druids (and assassins :p)
 
but ill take a good bet that this is how you versions should look on their respected screens after you installed TQ followed up by IM and then ingame modify files...:
Titans quest : 1.30
Immortal Throne : 1.1

as i suspects the patch up too 1.30 is purely for TQ and not IM.
 
as i thought... after installing the delux, then im, then start im and update TQ it shows tq when you start it as 1.30 and im when it starts 1.1

ok so how we talk or type ?

gosh i looked to far below to mis the version in the Titan Quest not the one below it. /noob award :D

We can always just mess around a bit and restart when the others decide to join.

I do think we should at least try to get a server running to see how it's done.
