Maths - This proves that playing fast paced FPS titles are as big of a time waster as most other titles.

CoD4 - Time Spent
*Average Playtime - 4 Hours a Day
*Average Time Spent Playing CoD 4 - 365 Days
4 x 365 = 1460 Hours
*Average Number of Deaths per hour 20
20 x 1460 = 29200 Deaths
*Respawn Timer ( Excluding Sabotage ) - 10 Seconds
29200 x 10 - 292000 Seconds
292000 Seconds = 4866 Minutes
4866 Minutes = 81 Hours
81 Hours = 3.37 Days

That means that an Average Player, and trust me when I say on our servers at least, this is actually below average for the majority of players, has been staring at the "YOU WILL RESPAWN IN 10 SECONDS" screen for more than 3 days.

Now kids, I think it boils down to, no matter how you spend or waste your time, if its gaming, you are a gamer.
