Guild Wars - General Discussion

Begging in an MMO is ebil

Nah - Lynus is in the same gaming clan |WrG| as I. He offered to donate stacks of loot to me since he wasn't playing much anymore & it would help me out when I restart the game. Needless to say, he issued me with some ph4t loot!

We do the same for all our clan members who join WoW ... We give them a 'starter pack' of 10g (which goes a LONG way at low levels in wow) as well as 4x16slot bags.

I love giving large amounts of money to nice and friendly newbies. Their reactions can be utterly priceless! >_<

But beggars piss me off! Especially the ones that have no manners, or any typing skills.

"GIEV GOLD LOOOOOLLLLL innnnnneeed waepnn!!!!!111"

Any donations this way will be appreciated :p

@Voicy, look out for any Zealous daggers of Fortitude, and swing them this way :o

*lol* Nihilist ... reminds me of my one mate who just started playing. His char's name is ...

...

"Moar glodz plox"

*facepalm*

In WoW when a noob opens a trade window with me and PM's me with "1g plz" I put in something like 999 gold, but don't press the accept button. Then I go about my business whilst they're begging and pleading for me to press the accept button.

Their reactions are hilarious.

I used to put 5000g and /afk :D

They'd start /w spamming the hell out of me, till I /ignore them... *evil laugh*

I'm having Guild Wars withdrawal symptoms :(

Sucks having a broken PC and a laptop that does not belong to me and lacks a single game on it.

Your missing out on an awesome weekend event!

Drops of alcohol and sweets..

Nice free stuff to make a quick 100k in Kamadan :p

Until when is the special running where you can buy a campaign and get EoTN for free?

Is it worth buying these things online, or should I rather get the boxes?

$14.00 for Factions, EoTN AND a haxx-imp doesn't sound like a bad deal.

Right- I've gone on and bought it. It activated instantly without me needing to download anything. Made an Assassin and got my Haxx imp combat pet straight away.

This deal is full of win. Put me back about R170 for Factions, Fire Imp & Eye of the North expansion.

If anyone wants to add me to their list, my name is "Gatemonkey San" :D

Score :D You've got to love it when things just work.

I logged on for the first time in a couple of weeks - my exams are finally behind me. Now, I've got a lot of titles to get. Including Survivor - which I've been trying to get - fruitlessly - for the past 2 years.

Just need to get used to things again, after playing Aion for 2 months, I keep trying to jump over things :/

Hehe - I know that feeling, Shadowfox.

The one thing I miss the most about WoW is the freedom of character movement. Being able to run, swim, fly, walk, jump off anything anywhere was pretty cool.

I jammed some more on my assassin last night for a level or so. He's still very very very squishy at lvl3. But I like Cantha - it's very pretty.

ah GW, good game, too bad the lack of new stuff killed it for me. you can only do the same things over again so many times

There were a couple of new things added in the 19 November update. I haven't really looked into it yet - but there's a new boss character called Dhuum which, rumour has it, is nearly impossible to kill.

I'll have to give it a shot with a couple of the allies.

How many times I've tried and a lag spike has ended it for me is beyond me
