Inspired by the Mad Max films and Blizzard's Diablo games, Borderlands is a four-player cooperative first-person shooter with RPG elements.

Players ride in customizable vehicles and explore a lawless, desolate planet filled with randomly generated areas and items (500,00+ weapons, 500,000+ items and armor variations), in search of a vault promising alien technology and secrets

I so can't wait for this..only thing is they don't have a proper release date yet...all I could find was Release Date: 2009

Wow that does look good. Actually that looks pretty amazing! I love games with randomized items. If they get the gameplay right then this game will be exactly what I was looking for... well at least until Diablo 3 is released. ;)

Can't wait for both of these titles...Probably gonna buy both as soon as they become available(even if I have to buy copies and then the originals):D:D
 
I heard about this a while ago and my interest was already grabbed ..... now even more so. I hope they follow through with what they've promised.
 
Move over Diablo3 and Starcraft2 ... Highlander is coming out :D

Anyway back to this insanely awsome looking game...I dug around a bit and found out it will only be available around the August..wich kinda sux!!!

Hmmmm ... Highlander is coming out in the end of March... wait what's that? The sound of 5 months of awesomeness to catch up to? so sorry :p

To tell you the truth, I never even bothered reading your OP so I have no idea which game I'm comparing highlander to :p

oh wait I lie, I did know what game were talking about ... I speed-read the word "borderlandsgame" in your post somewhere and figured it's a game critic site called "borderline-a-game"...and thought wow they must be pretty strict!

Ok so ... pray tell our kind readers what makes Borderline > Highlander and I shall retaliate in kind.

Im sure highlander will be good if they do the game properly and actually use a familiar highlander story. Then i'll definitly buy it..ive always been a highlander fan...Damn now ive got the theme song stuck in my head...lol!!

Oddly enough I find Adrian Paul playing a more in-character role as Duncan Mcleod than Christopher Lambert did as Connor Mcleod...

This game runs over 2000 years of fighting with a few different weapon styles. You also use your agility/immortality to overcome objects i.e. getting stabbed by one dude to steal his sword or set off traps etc.

I still need to give it some more reading, but it looks hellishly good.
