Does anyone know if seagate fixed the reliability problems on their new drives yet ! Im running a seagate drive ATM which is pretty bulletproof IMO (I'v had it for quite a while with no issues) but after hearing that new seagate drives are not of the best quality (failures etc) I dont know i i should get another seagate or a WD

The affected Seagate drives can now be fixed with a firmware update. Some stores do that for you before you get the HDD. I know Prophecy does this and I think Take2 too.
