Oh well, I guess I'm still just a magazine person myself. You can't read the intertronz on the toilet, after all. Well, that's not entirely true, since I occasionally browse Wikipedia on my iPod Touch while... actually, that's probably too much information.
 
I still think NAG is a pretty good sack of dead-tree.

I get why people get annoyed about Michael's approach to responding to his readers, and personally, I do think that it's a bit uncool to be so openly sarcastic and rude to kids who spend their limited allowances on supporting you. Sure, it may be funny every now and then, but its kinda like repeating subtle variations of the same punch line to the same joke...over and over and over and...

I'm not sure why people have beef with the writing. I personally really enjoy Geoff Burrows' and Dane Remendes' reviews, as well as of course our dear Azimuth. I also think that NEO is a shit-hot hardware writer. I'm not a huge fan of Miktar's opinion pieces, nor Walt's TBH, but that Megan Hughs was pretty enjoyable (I think she left).

I have met Geoff and Michael. Both very nice guys. Geoff in particular is very down to earth, polite and friendly. Tarryn is a total cow but that goes without saying.

I must admit though, I hardly read it anymore, if only because after an 8 hour day sitting trawling for gaming news, the last thing I feel like doing is reading news blips from two weeks ago.

In closing, I do think that NAG deserves all the success it has enjoyed. I bought the first ever issue and was a devoted supporter for years.
 
I Have been reading from the first nag till 2 months ago when I got the net.

Parents buy the magazine for there children, to see if there letter by chance was replied to by the great Nag-o-ditor.Only to be replied with subtle sarcasm and same rehashed jokes?
Kids don't understand that, and will get really miffed at him for acting like that towards people.
It simply doesn't make sense to insult your readers.

Megan Hughs, i really enjoyed her articles. Her articles were very good,intelligent and funny.
Not egotistical and loathing towards everyone else.

It's just I don't agree with Azimuth's cocky and egotistical one-sided opinionated writing pieces.
How a person writes articles like this and not expect negative feedback is beyond me.
Write thought provoking pieces that will bring forth intelligent reader views and accept them to be someone else's opinion.
Your view is not the only one that counts, no matter how you put it.
You are not the center of the f******g universe.

well yeah I am kinda. I get pissed of very easily. And have very strong opinions abut certain things. I guess thats why I only have one buddy:(
