Doubtful, I would think that the purchase would still need a credit card to make payment or a Paypal account.

No we will use $. Which is better than using euros, steam screws the eu customers by using this equation $1=€1 while a euro is worth much more.

Steam will be great for us because of the convenience, the ability to sources most games and the super weekend specials.

Impulse list prices in rands.

Just to clarify does this include the prepaid local or only the normal prepaid?? The local prepaid is a lot cheaper so if it includes the steam stuff I will go for it.

Sticking with afrihost as my main isp just going using wa for steam. Afrihost's 10gig adsl is 50% cheaper than WA.

gonna go for a R70 a month jobbie. got me plenty of stuff on steam i purchased, just never downloaded, as for new stuff. Serious Sam HD looks like a good purchase :D

and the whole Novalogic catalog!

According to their website, local and normal prepaid have access to their FreeZone.

That is correct however you must have available bandwidth on your account to access the FreeZone area.

Content downloaded from our Steam server would be free however it is possible that the steam engine fetches the data from multiple sources in which case data would be used outside our network and therefore charged.

One would need to ensure that the content is being downloaded from our steam server which is setup in the FreeZone in order to fully reap the benefit and which I am currently investigating :)

I will post updates on our forums (forum.webafrica.co.za) or the blog (blog.webafrica.co.za) :)
