Modern Warfare 2 - Multiplayer

Yeah, upload speed is more important than download speed when it comes to hosting MW2. You, as hoster, need to be able to send the data through to all the players.

Higher upload speed means more players can join your game without lagging.
 
After a month of playing Modern Warfare 2, I only discovered yesterday I can hold down the click to make the predator missile go faster lol
 
Ok so i decided i would play a bit of MW2 online here at work.... guess what.... bloody bastids made me host... so i disconnected... after hearing that it uses up sooooo much bandwidth i thought fsck that im not hosting anything :rolleyes:
 
I am going to make a "Noob" Class to make people scream OMG you F**** NOOB :p

Primary: Assualt rifle with Grenade Launcher
Secondary: RPG

Equipment: C4

Perk 1 : Scavenger
Perk 2 : Danger Close

Deathstreak: Matrydom

Everytime I re-supply with grenade launcher and RPG and keep killing them :p

lol we raped a irish clan the other night and got told we were camping (which I honestly dont do)
Then he left the game so he could re join and be placed on our team to kill us... which landed up in us still beating his clan but having alot less xp from killing him in the process...
 
Is there a local sever to play MW2 with local cap and if there is please let me know i dont wana waste my cap off 4min playing

Nope, unfortunately there is no way to use local cap in MW2, a player needs to be connected to steam at all times to be able to play.
 
I want more Hardcore games!!! Everyone only plays the normal TDM. Played a couple of rounds hardcore and it was bliss.......

Why is camping such a problem? Its not camping. Its pining down players at certain locations :p

I also find that the spawn system fails or maybe its just me. If I am playing with a Ghost class(Silenced Weapon, Cold Blooded, Ninja), when my team mates die they all spawn next to me even though I am on the other side of the map and no where near the rest of them. I am usually sneaking up on the enemy :)

Because of the fail spawn, when they make noise or if a UAV is up my position is given away and I die :(

This never happens in Cod 4! but maybe its becuase theirs only 6v6 players the spawning fails....

Haven't had a chance to play online yet, but I am sure that I will be moaning about latency troubles pretty sooon...
