Why? Well sure it's there to make sure that we don't have a bunch of one hit wonders joining and then taking the prize, but honestly ... with a post count of 20, they end up trolling ALL our forums and bump ancient ones just to work their post counts.

So either there should be a proper post count i.e. 200 or none at all...or something.

Either way, I'mma kick them inna panty :mad:

Its not so much the whole one post wonder thing... its the fact that these idiots have nothing better to say when it actually comes to posting something worth saying about the relevant topic....

So you see where im coming from :rolleyes:.... and especially when you watching these guys and their post count just to make sure that they are giving some decent input.... it would help once in a while to make sure things are done correctly :)

I'd prefer having the rule more along the lines of on the day the compo starts you have to have X amount of posts and have been a member for Y weeks. That would be an incentive to maintain an active account, before the compo starts, while excluding one hit wonders who join solely for the compo.

We don't do that coz the whole idea of the comp is to draw new members even if only 10% of the noobs stick around its still a nice use increase for the site.

Agreed obviously the amount of members increasing due to comps and all that has increased (and i mean active members) we worked it out last yr around June that about 2-4 out of 10pp stayed active for a longer period of time after the comp ended than those who posted a couple times and then blasted and soon as it came to an End so it kinda works out nicely if you think about it :)
 
Last movie game I played was the martix, basicly it was made up of all the deleted scenes of the movie.

And I think I missed a page :o
