Deciding between two HP Desktops ---- Help/Advice badly needed!

hello everyone,
i recently purchased a desktop from costco with the following specs:

6GB ram
2.5 ghz 8300 quad processor
640GB HD
integrated GC
25" monitor
price: 800

i then bought a GEforce 9800GT EE GC and a 550 continous Power Supply totalling $180

Total price with taxes= $1050
The computer is still unopenned..and i'm wondering if i should return it and get the following:


8GB Ram
2.6 GHz quad processor
750GB HD
512MB NVIDIA G310 Graphics and the right power supply
25" Monitor

Price after tax: $1050

Should i make the switch?
Why/Why not?
 
I'd stick with the first one. You won't see much benefit of 8gigs of RAM compared to 6gigs and the G310 graphics card is a pile of poo and not suited for gaming.
 
i made a mistake...
the second computer comes with a ATI Radeon HD4350 512MB

any change in your recommendation? how does this GC compare?

i installed my new 550 power supply and my new GEforce 9800 last night....i then played Unreal Turn. 3.

BEEEEEAST!

the graphics were crisp and fast. no lag time at all. very clear.
