Hey peeps,

Im getting a little bit cheesed off at the term thrown around on MW2...."camper"

Please give me your opinion on what camper actually means?

Mine:

If you are killed by the same person in the same place more than 3 times in the same game then he or she is a camper.

But if you manage to not die once during a game and get 30 kills and do not do the above are you still a camper or just good?
 
Camper = Player who stays in one spot, doesn't move, and kills peeps running past. If said player is killed he/she moves to exactly the same spot and continues.

My take on it.

My personal opinion is that you are good. I think to classify as a camper you have to stay in the same place mostly until you are killed. Though I do think some people see it as not running around and all that.
 
I've gotten nukes without dying, and ppl call me a camper. LOL.

Well here is a lowdown. Map starts, I run, poon okes pew pew pew, get up 7, gooi a harrier strike, harrier gets my chopper gunner, I run to a safe location and deploy chopper gunner, Gun them down till I get nuke.

So how's that camping? Freaken tards. Yeah dude what you said above is true. IF you get pwned from the same spot buy the same guy the whole time, he's camping.

Lot's of times with me for example, Is I would be sitting and shooting at ppl, and I will check the radar for other blips around me. SO I check 2 okes are near me and are approaching as they saw me firing, So I'll go prone and wait for them to come around the corner and kill both of them, but then I'm called a camper. LOL
 
Hiding behind a box in a dark room for the entirety of a game is what I consider a camper.

And when you die, you run back and hide behind the same box because you know thats the only way you are going to get kills.

Snipers = campers

I hate snipers and I hate the camping they do. Really lame.

Wait let me be clear on my above sniper comment - I hate snipers that never move, I know and have seen some amazing snipers, who move around the map.
 
On RIG there's a player called Hxz or um something like that, I think he may be a member here too. Oh well, he's an excellent sniper. And he doesn't stay on one spot, he moves around. I don't think he's a camper, I think he is a bloody good player. :)

Dude that Hxz guy is a demon.... when it was myself mappy and 3 other guys including that hxz guy bru we went all out... it was also search and destroy... aRi is also a demon sniper... but he sure knows how to move ey :p
 
i get so cheesed when I beat higher ranked players and the revert to calling me a camper.

What are your takes on Claymores?
Camper tool or good strategic tool?
I tend to Claymore high traffic areas and replace them when they blow.

I reckon it's a good strategic tool. Um do note that I am the most casual CoD 4 player in existence. So my input may be not be the best. :)

WEll you get noobs who plant the claymores on the bomb in SnD. That's just not cricket, all other use is fine with me.
 
Well dude in all honesty, don't even listen to what other ppl say or type ingame. Play the way you want to, play the way you enjoy the game, if it pisses someone off, it's their problem.
 
Camper: Anyone who parks there butts on the same spot, usualy well hidden if possible, and shoots at anything that comes into view, often with a sniper weapon or other scoped weapons.

/Is a camper and damn proud of it!
 
I must say I get hell of a bored sitting in any one spot for to long, I am always moving around, thats the way I dig to play. Being a camper must be dang boring! :rolleyes:
