Soo........ Some News on BC2

I think everyone needs to calm the heck down and wait for the game to be released and make your decisions then and ONLY then. We don't want this game to be another MW2 fiasco and chances are it won't be, but the hype machine seems to be trying its best none-the-less!

As i'm only playing competitive fps games this is a game-breaker for me, bye bye BFBC2 ~~~.

Have you played any BF games competatively? Since it come out BF2 has been played at rAge at stock standard. No mods. No need to "fix" the guns to how you think they are supposed to work.

Its easy to spot the guys who started gaming competitively on CoD 4 as opposed to those of us who have been doing this for a while.
As stated NONE of the BF series of games have ever used a MOD to run leagues or tournamnets.
The reason for this is simple, the game does not have a perks system and is geared solely towards gunplay and teamwork.

Before guys condemn the title, why not at least find out what its about first.
I played BF2 leagues using the standard gameplay features and it was at all times a superior experience to CoD in my humble opinon.

Exactly.

The fact that CoD "needed" a mod to make it competitive simply shows how flawed a game it was from a competitive perspective. Either that or it showed how narrow-minded the community was with regard to the originally released game. Take your pick.

I started on COD WAW :p

It's awesome that BF2 didn't need any mods, as was quickly pointed out by everybody that has played it. I still stand by my point, It sucks that it comes without mod tools, just like MW2 sucks without it's mod tools.
